YESDR Consortium Policies¶
The YESDR Consortium operates under a set of published policies to ensure transparency, technical integrity, and professional collaboration.
Contribution Policy¶
- Technical contributions are submitted through defined processes
- All changes to specifications require review and approval
- Contributions must be documented and traceable
Intellectual Property¶
- Contributions must comply with YESDR intellectual property guidelines
- Members retain ownership of their original work, subject to licensing rules
- Specifications are published under Consortium-approved terms
Release and Versioning¶
- YESDR specifications follow a release-based model
- Each release includes change logs and documented updates
- Backward compatibility is maintained where feasible
Code of Conduct¶
- All participants must maintain respectful and professional communication
- Harassment, discrimination, or disruptive behavior is not tolerated
- Violations may result in removal from Consortium activities
Governance and Compliance¶
- Policies are reviewed periodically
- Updates are approved by the Steering Committee
- Members are notified of significant policy changes
